Arwendayle June Contests

For the JUNE RAFFLE we have two contests this month:

Contest #1: For the official music video “HAIL OUR QUEENS”
A video of you wearing your Arwendayle crown (wig):

• In landscape format

• Without sound

• 5–7 seconds long

• Important: Don’t stop recording right after the final pose. Let the camera run for another 1–1.5 seconds after the ending shot, so transitions don’t cut off your video.

• Make sure to use good lighting/daylight. Videos that are too dark cannot be considered.

• Choose a setting, situation, or mood that matches our song “Hail Our Queens.” You’ll find the song and lyrics here: [link not included in original]

• Send your video via Facebook Messenger to Anja Deichmann or Arwendayle Deutschland

• A medieval vibe would be wonderful, but it’s not required—and you don’t need to wear medieval clothing. However, videos with a medieval look and feel are more likely to be chosen for the official video.

• This video will not be posted in our groups. The official video will be published on our Facebook pages “Arwendayle Deutschland”, "Arwendayle" and on our YouTube channel.

Each video you submit counts as one entry in the June raffle. You may submit up to four (4) videos. If your video is selected for the official music video, you will automatically receive one entry for the October grand prize raffle for that submission. You can still win in the June raffle with your other entries.

Contest #2: Video for the official Arwendayle video

• In landscape format

• The background should be calm—e.g. a plain wall (some decoration is fine, but no busy shelves, china cabinets, or personal collections), or outdoors (meadow, forest, lake, river, wall, castle, fortress, etc.)

• Includes a spoken English statement. Please choose one of the provided statements:
  

  “Welcome to Arwendayle—where we don’t discuss wigs, we celebrate our crowns.”
  
  “The Crowns of Arwendayle. Because you’re not just a woman. You are a queen.”
  
  “After chemo, I lost more than hair. Arwendayle gave me a piece of myself back.”
  
  “As a Black woman, finding hair that celebrates me is revolutionary.”
  
  “At Arwendayle, we believe every woman deserves to feel royal. That’s why we wear crowns, not wigs.”
  

  “Whether you’re conquering boardrooms or brunch tables, your crown speaks before you do.”

  “Our community made me feel seen. Hail the Queens of Arw”endayle.”
  
  
  “Tag us. Share your story. Inspire a queen in your life.

• Speak clearly and avoid background noise or music

• Post your video in the “Queens of Arwendayle” group with the hashtag: #junequeen2 (no space between “#” and “j”), so we can find your post if needed

• Also send your video via Facebook Messenger to Anja Deichmann or Arwendayle Deutschland so we can download and edit your video

Each spoken video you submit counts as one entry in the June raffle. You may submit up to four (4) videos. If your video is selected for the official Arwendayle video, you will automatically receive one entry for the October grand prize raffle for that submission. You can still win in the June raffle with your other entries.

The June raffle will likely take place LIVE  on Sunday, July 6 at 12 PM (MST) on our Facebook page “Arwendayle Deutschland.” It will be a LIVE in German, but English-speakers are eligible and encouraged to participate. If your name is drawn, you will be notified. 

Details and prizes for the June Raffle will be announced ahead of time in our online shop under “Crown Blogs” and in our Facebook group "Queens of Arwendayle".

The main raffle will take place during our Castle Tour in Germany in October. The price is a human hair crown. If this crown is not suitable for the winning Queen, she may choose a synthetic crown from our online shop.
